New Site

Welcome to my new site.  About 2 days after I thought about looking into getting a new site that would provide me with a little more flexibility, a friend by the name of Brian West dropped me an email and offered to do that!   Who needs email when you have psychic powers!  Thanks, Brian

I will be able to do far more on this site than I could on the other one.  I'm a quote collector and will be able to share those with you.  I will have a separate section for book (and other kinds of) reviews.  I'll have static pages where I can post articles that won't just be archived away like my blog pages.  I'll also be able to post audio (for those who have a penchant for redneck accents) and at some time may even include a chat line or bulletin board.

Also, note that my URL is now simply www.jim-street.com.  I had to put a "dash" in it because there is already an artist who owns my name.com.  (Why would he steal my name like that?)

And, for all my AARP-qualified readers, you can enlarge the print by clicking on the "A" over there on the left.

I like these new digs it but it's going to take a little getting used to.

Incidentally, you notice on the left that there is a place to register.  You only need to do that if you want to make comments.  It helps me control those folks who either want to post bad things or who "drop by to say 'hi'" as a way to promote their latest gizmo, book or CD.

I'm going to keep my other site up a while and eventually import the material over there to this site.

Thanks to all of you who continue to read my posts.
